Christmas was great, I wish it was still going.
After an amazing time opening presents in the morning we had an even better time eating Sarah's cinnamon rolls and then an even better time laying around the house, it snowed for a while and we just enjoyed basking in all of God's blessings and beauty.
We went to our friends house (Tim and Cameron!) and had a wonderful roast dinner, followed by wassail and playing music! Tim taught me 'O Holy Night' on guitar, that was fun. Then we came home and crashed.
We really do have it good here. By here I mean the US. We were informed that this pass week a church planter who works with the A29 network ( the planting network of pastors we worked with as we moved up here) in India was caroling with his small congregation and were mobbed and beat very severely. One man is still in the hospital. We were then told that they planned on going out again...
I encourage you to thank Jesus this season for all He has given you. Often in the busyness of the holiday we get swept up and don't take time to stop and really appreciate all that we have, even without new presents.
I'm thankful for my wife, for her love and support. I'm also very thankful to all who read this blog to stay along side Sarah and I as we endeavor in this new season that God has for us. I pray for your hope and faith in this new year, that Jesus would continue to be ever-present in your heart and mind for the transforming of your life. Blessings and peace be with you. Merry Christmas!
